Basic
Requirements: A
large yard with a strong 6' fence is important. Great
Danes should not be left alone for long periods in the
yard or they may become bored and destructive. Since
Great Danes are a large breed dog, obedience training
should be started early. Weekly brushing and occasional
bathing will keep the coat in shape.
Temperament:
Great Danes
are loyal family companions. They are typically good
with kids if raised with them. Most are good
watchdogs.
